But his carier does not stop within the Greek frontiers.He has already started a very promising carier in France. His first single there called 'Disco girl' was realeased there on the 17th of June 2002 and it is doing great in sales.On the 8th of July his album 'ola kala' was also released in France containing 13 wonderful tracks!!!! People in France call him 'the Greek God' 'the beautiful Greek' and 'the Greek phenomenon'.

He has a tender full of passion voice, he moves great on stage and once you see him live there is no chance to forget him. But above all when you meet him you see what great people are all about. Sakis has a shinning personality a warm heart and he is full of kindness!!So in a few words Sakis is a golden boy indeed!!

*Sakis singing Stamatis Kraounakis! The famous composer chose Sakis to perform one of the tracks in his album 'Speranza'. The song is called 'to vatraxaki'. Lina Nikolakopoulou wrote those wonderful lyrics. Something tells me that this only the beginning. Mr Kraounakis and Ms Nikolakopoulou admire Sakis very much as a person and as an artist. *New Pepsi spot!! The shooting took place on the 25th the 26th the 28th and the 29th of April,2001 in Plaka , Kallimarmaro and other great spots in Athens.In a few days time on your screens. Where is Sakis?? A few words on the story, Sakis is chased by paparazzi as he takes a walk around Athens. In order to escape he drinks his Pepsi and bekomes invisible. *20/3/2001:Pop corn awards show took place in 'Fever' club.Sakis was once again the man of the evening!He
won the awards for 'best stage performance'and 'best male performance' for the most popural Greek singer.Sakis gave a spectacular live show, covering his hits 'Antexa' and 'se thelo san trelos'of course, and also an amazing cover of Beatles' 'Let it be' solo on the piano, along with some Elvis tracks and some samba tunes with Rachel.All these were 'dressed' with great dance routines by Fokas Evagelinos and performed in an excellent way as Sakis only knows how.Sakis showed us once again that he is the greatest performer here in Greece and,if you want my opinion, worldwide. For all of you living abroad,I believe you will have the chance to share this magical sensation real soon.
*PEPSI Summer Tour 2001, Sakis started his summer tour on the 14th of June, in Kastoria, at the North west side of the country. I was lucky to be there, and in Kavala on the 21rst of July as well as in Halkidiki and Katerini and I can tell you the show was sensational. Sakis was on stage for nearly 2 hours. A Great performance as Sakis danced all over the stage singing all his hits and lots more. Such events are very difficult to be described in words. You have to live it to understand how magical Sakis is. He gave us 12 great nights to rembember!!!! Thank you Saki, we love you!!
*I am sure you all know that Sakis was an athlete before he become a singer!! For those of you who didn't know, i am telling you that he had made it to the national Teenage team at that time at Pole Vault.('Alma epi konto' in Greek)and his capacities and scores were great. They still are, as it turns out, as our Sakis is back in stadiums and he wants to continue his training in his spare time. Music is his big love and so are sports, so it is great that he has found the way to combine the two of them,don't you agree?
*10th of September, 2001!!!! Sakis makes a special for Greece along with Nana Moushouri, Lakis Lazopoulos and other distinguisted people.This program is made by the German tv. Sakis with Ms Moushouri were at Gazi on the 10 of September, 2001, and also on Philopapou hill where Saki performed his great hit Antexa.So all of you out there and especially in Germany, will have the chance to get to know Greece through the eyes and the works of such wonderful people.
*Desmont Child,the world- famous producer is working with Sakis! *Sakis appeared on 'Prive' show on Saturday the 20th of October , 2001. They covered a recording session with Sakis singing 'Discogirl'!!!!!There was also an exclusive chat with Sakis, talking about his cooperation with Desmond Child, his life in Miami during the making of the album, and Greece of course.As Desmond Child put it, Sakis is a phenomenon in music and his carrier can only compared to that of Elvis'. That says it all, right?
*A few days before Christmas,Sakis started his live shows in Rex club in Athens along with Despoina Vandi.On the 21rst of December the nights in Athens are special indeed. Sakis appearence on stage is outstanding and i will tell you a secret:In his solo appearence apart from Disco girl, he also does two more new tracks from his upcoming new album:an uptempo song called 'ola kala'(means 'everything all right') and also a wonderful ballad 'Tha eimai dipla sou' written by Foivos and lyrics by Vagelis Kostantinidis.You have to be there. * On Saturday the 12th of January Rex club had a very special quest who came expecially for Sakis in order to surprise him and wish him 'happy birthday'. Ms Nana Moushouri,the international famous singer, was there just to see her good friend Sakis .She got on stage with a birthday cake and sang 'happy birthday to him. Later on she said that Sakis is the future in the musical scene or Europe and worldwide!!!!
*26/1/2002: A Really special day for Sakis and for us his fans of course. A party took place in Plazza hotel- Athens where Sakis was awarded with a platinum record for his single 'Disco girl'. Members of the French press were also there as well as from the European MTV. You have to remember this is only the beggining!!
*On the 9th of February 50 Representatives of the French press visited Athens in order to meet and see Sakis on stage. They had dinner with him at Gazi and later on they enjoyed the show in Rex. They left with the best of impressions I bet and Sakis traveled to Paris for two days to present his 'Disco girl' there. The best is yet to come!!!!!!!!!!
*On March the 3rd 2002, Sakis traveled all the way to Cape town, in South Africa in order to do his new video clip!!Sakis went to cape town, South Afrika to do his new video clip for Disco girl and 'ola kala' - a great song from his new cd, which opens his show in Rex-. The shooting took place last week, from the 4th until the 7th of March and Sakis traveled with a huge crew of 50 people having the best of directors and producers! The people who worked with him are amazed with his acting ability. He made the two videos within 3 days as they only needed two or three times maximum to do each scene. Sakis is a multi-talented man lets not forget that.
*Nick Aliagas the famous presenter of French 'FRANCE 2' spoke very highly of Sakis and his talent. He also added that Disco girl is in the heavy transmission list on French Radios and everybody in France want to see the artist behind the song. *I have good news for all of you living in France, French tv made a special program for Sakis!! The television crew came to his house in Athens and they did a very interesting interview with him, taking about his carrier, his fans and lots of other things. Nickos Aliagas was also there. On Monday the 11th of March Sakis was in Paris again! He did interviews for 4 magazines and two stations, so have your ears and eyes open!! You don't wanna miss a thing believe me!!!!
* Sakis is the best pop singer in Greece! We knew that of course but now it is also official with Arion Awards!! The ceremony was spectacural and Sakis made it even more glamorous with a wonderful breathtaking live show. He performed 'Ola kala', 'Antexa','tha eimai dipla sou' and 'Disco girl'!! Don't forget Sakis is the best!!!!!!The show was broadcasted live in America and Australia. Hope you didn't miss it!
